Browse without an account. Sign in only when you want to publish a memory or keep personal marks.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your account identifier, name, email address and profile image. We use these to identify your account and display your profile. We do not receive your provider password or retain provider access tokens.
We store memories you publish and the products you bookmark or mark as used. Session cookies keep you signed in. Technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, may be processed to operate the service and prevent abuse.
What is public
Published memories and your account name are public, including in the memorial view. Your email address, bookmarks and used-product marks are private. Account data remains separate from the product catalog.
Storage and service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and its database. Google or GitHub handles authentication when you choose that provider. We use account information to provide sign-in, saved products and memories. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Analytics
Google Analytics measures website visits, feature interactions and request outcomes, including on account pages, using analytics cookies. We send a sanitized page path, generic page title, referring site, public product or company identifiers, controlled action choices, result status and numeric counts; we exclude URL queries, account identifiers, emails and memory text. Advertising features and automatic form tracking are disabled. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days. You can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings.
Your choices
You can delete your own published memories, undo personal marks and sign out through the website. We keep account data while the account exists. To request account deletion or ask about your data, email support@weusedthis.com. Deleted content may remain temporarily in infrastructure backups.
