Verification notes
Shutdown
Alphana founder Sebastian Mourra’s original FAQ dates the sunset announcement April 10, 2026 and says the entire Alphana platform would shut May 9. It told customers to export content before then, described separate Visuals.fm accounts and different core workflows, and said original Alphana data would be deleted after closure. The current original app.alphana.ai entrance explicitly says “Alphana has been retired” and points to Visuals, corroborating completed loss of the original named app. The exact last account-access instant is not independently measured, so displayed May 9 is an explicitly inferred operator-announced cutoff proxy, not a verified technical cessation day; serviceEndedAt is absent. A still-published Visuals.fm “Studio (Legacy)” marketing page links to the retired Alphana app and describes its former AI Cards workflow, while an older help article describes separate Alphana Studio subscriptions. Those pages are stale or transitional in light of the current retired app entrance and later founder FAQ; they do not establish a working post-shutdown Alphana account. Visuals remains a separately named AI creative platform with distinct accounts and workflows, so this record does not mark Visuals closed. The original AppSumo product page and founder update document a complete AI user task: import video or podcast, transcribe, generate clips, summaries, posts, blogs and newsletters through reusable AI Cards, then export. Its seller profile names Sebastian Mourra and lists Miami, Florida as headquarters; the operator help-center footer also says it is made in Miami. The seller-supplied 2025 profile logo image was downloaded and inspected; the local path-only SVG manually traces its white two-part A and flattens its magenta-to-orange gradient to a solid magenta tile. Artwork and trademarks remain with their owner; no open license asserted. No original customer login, export or data deletion was tested. Closure source

Launch
The original seller profile lists the company founded in May 2023 and a founder introduction in August 2024; neither supplies the platform’s first public launch day.
Location
United States · Miami. Alphana founder seller profile lists Miami as headquarters; original help-center footer independently says “Made with love in Miami.” Neither verifies a registered office or server location. Coordinates use the GeoNames populated-place point rounded to two decimal places for the city-level globe marker, not an office or server address. Location source · Coordinate source
