Sources and verification
- Shutdown
- Founder Farzad Khosravi’s August 5, 2024 retrospective explicitly says he shut down Cicero.ly in February. August 5 is the inferred dated confirmation proxy shown here, not its actual service cutoff or a proven first announcement. The precise February day, hour and timezone are unestablished. Co-founder Tyler Termini independently calls the product defunct as of early 2024 and describes production LLM classification pipelines supporting the curated feed. The original operator profile identifies the independent AI librarian, personalized newsletters and feeds. This covers the complete Cicero content-curation application; Dediro is a separate later venture, and the similarly named legal AI company is not this product. The operator is recorded as the Cicero brand, without an unverified legal entity. Its profile lists Remote, US, so no city, office or coordinates are inferred. Closure source
