- Kyle Chayka’s February 10, 2023 New Yorker article directly interviews Mayk’s head of product Neer Sharma and reports Drayk.it already shut down. That dated report is the inferred display proxy; the actual cutoff and announcement days remain unverified. This covers the complete independently named prompt-to-parody-song website, not the continuing Mayk app, Tacotron, Uberduck or an individual voice model. The report does not establish that a legal complaint caused closure. Exact launch day, cutoff hour/time zone, legal operator entity and product-specific operating location are unverified. The old domain returned HTTP403 during this visit, which is not closure proof.
