Sources and verification
- Shutdown
- The February 26, 2026 founder retrospective describes the decision to end Itus AI and releases its production platform source. The linked co-founder repository explicitly says the platform was shut down in early 2026 and Itus AI LLC ceased operations in February 2026. The displayed February 26 date is an inferred dated confirmation proxy from the founder post, not the actual last-access day. The earliest announcement, exact customer cutoff, hour and timezone are unverified. The original February 2024 founder introduction binds Itus to itus.ai, offers invite tokens, and describes employee-specific AI chat plus an administrative insights portal. The archive corroborates a standalone multi-tenant AI/RAG application, rather than a model, API or embedded feature. Source availability does not restore the hosted service. Current domain or login fetch failures are not closure proof. Charlotte, North Carolina is the company location stated by the co-founder source archive; no street address, current occupancy or coordinates are asserted. Closure source
