Shutdown: The original IDE overview and both current and former Marketplace entries announce retirement of the named IDE plugin on October 30, 2026 and direct local-review users to Agentic Toolbox. This is a planned ending of the cloud-connected IDE application experience, not a claim that Qodo, its Git/PR review platform or its replacement Toolbox is closing. The publisher’s version 2.2.9 changelog expressly excludes on-premises installations. Static inspection of that exact original registry-distributed package confirms retirement guards on HTTP and agent requests, test actions and the chat view; it was not installed or executed. Its VS Code client uses 2026-10-30T00:00:00Z, but this implementation detail is not extrapolated to all IDE clients or a measured backend cutoff. April 23 concerned autocomplete and chat-based code generation only, with IDE review continuing; it is not the announcement date of this later whole-plugin retirement. The first retirement-announcement day and a common cutoff hour/time zone across clients remain unknown. No completed shutdown is inferred before the date. All IDE distributions and historical names belong to one product record, with the on-premises exception disclosed. Current listing Modes text can retain historical generation descriptions; the April feature change is preserved separately.
