Shutdown: Aisekai team lead Kamion’s original January 31, 2024 statement says the team decided to terminate all AI services of the Aisekai website as of that date. It separately promises two weeks of frontend-only support so users can export character definitions, prompts and chats; that export surface is not continuation of the core character-conversation service. The team-signed statement says the sponsor retained the Aisekai brand/code and the team could not continue it, while Discord and Reddit communities would remain. The date is the operator-stated immediate AI-service cutoff, not a later export-end date or temporary October 2023 outage. The former site is currently inaccessible; no historical user session was independently replayed, and no cutoff clock time or time zone was provided. The original team character-creation guide documents a complete account-based task: build story, character personality, knowledge base and scenario, preview AI dialogue, publish publicly or privately, and chat with generated characters.
