Sources and verification
- Shutdown
- April 9, 2026 is the completed service-end day reported that afternoon by Edaily journalist Lee So-hyun, who captured the operator notice and directly interviewed NAVER. The report specifies 14:00 without explicitly identifying a timezone; no timezone conversion is inferred. Electronic Times directly reported NAVER’s February 24 announcement and user-record export guidance. This covers the complete independently named CLOVA X app/service, not HyperCLOVA X models, CLOVA Studio, CUE:, AI Briefing or AI Tab. The current user-entry DNS failure is an access limitation, not the closure proof. Data-deletion plans are not independently audited. Closure source
