Verification notes

Shutdown: A personally opened July 10, 2026 Internet Archive capture of Straico's own team-signed notice says the complete web app, desktop app and API would go offline July 22, 2026; the original article metadata dates publication June 22. The live original page timed out/returned 502 at this check, so its search excerpt is not treated as a fresh page read. AppSumo's direct customer notice independently gives the July 22 deadline, and its August 10 purchaser thread reports the former app is gone. The current product domain timed out and the platform hostname did not resolve in a separate check; these network observations support but do not alone prove permanent closure. Together with the team notice and later user report, the whole hosted Straico service is treated as confirmed discontinued. The displayed July 22 date is explicitly an inferred announced-cutoff proxy, not an independently verified exact access-loss day; no serviceEndedAt is asserted. Straico was not just a model directory: the original seller page describes an independent account workspace for AI chat, file/URL analysis, reusable prompts, image editing/generation and text-to-speech, with model comparison as one part of the task. Its API and desktop app were additional surfaces of the same service. The seller profile names Arturo Henao as founder and Miami as headquarters; this is vendor-supplied profile data, not a verified registered office. The local two-path logo is a manually traced adaptation of the 512px Straico symbol hosted on the original seller page, preserving its blue rounded tile and white bolt; owner rights remain reserved with no open image license claimed. No login, stored-data deletion or refund flow was tested. Closure source

Launch: The team retrospectively calls August 2023 its first AppSumo campaign, while the seller profile lists the company's May 2023 founding month. Neither establishes the first public launch day.
