A standalone AI image-upscaling web app that added prompt-guided detail and texture, with adjustable creativity and multiple output variations.

Topaz plans to close the standalone Bloom app on October 13, 2026 and move users and creative controls into Topaz for Web.

Sources and verification

Shutdown: This is a scheduled full closure of the independently named Bloom web app, not an observed completed shutdown. The September 28 announcement explicitly separates the closing app from the continuing Bloom 2 and Creative Upscale workflows in Topaz for Web. Subscribers keep their current plan with Pro Image access. Topaz for Web, the Bloom models and other Topaz apps are not marked discontinued. The cutoff hour and time zone are unspecified; reaching October 13 alone will not establish completed closure. Official shutdown notice
