Shutdown: Vowel operated a complete independent AI meeting product: customers hosted calls, obtained live transcripts, MeetingGPT answers, generated summaries and action items, searched recordings and shared clips. On June 30, 2023 Feisworld, a direct Vowel customer, reproduced a team-sent farewell letter saying users could download recordings only through July 5 and the company expected to close; that is an export deadline, not proof of the precise service sunset. Zapier's later March 6, 2024 company-issued acquisition release explicitly states that Vowel services had sunset as of December 27, 2023. That retrospective operator-side statement supports the displayed service-end day; it does not establish the exact final login hour, timezone or why the earlier export deadline differed. No first announcement day is independently verified, so `announcedAt` is null rather than borrowing Feisworld's June 30 publication day. The March 2024 acquisition of Vowel's team followed the closure, so this record is the preceding whole-product shutdown, not an acquisition alone or Zapier Central's status.
