What is a Kaleido account? — operator confirmation ↗ · Checked 7 Oct 2026
Sources and verification
- Shutdown
- December 1, 2025 is the service-end day explicitly confirmed in the operator’s current help article, not an inferred proxy. The original announcement date, cutoff hour and time zone are unverified. This record covers the complete independently named Unscreen service; continuing Canva features and remove.bg are outside its scope. The old product domain now redirects to Canva, but the dated operator statement—not the redirect—is the closure evidence. Older Kaleido marketing still describes the products as available; that undated company-name-change copy is not treated as proof of continued service. Closure source

- Launch
- The exact public launch date remains unverified. The old March 7, 2020 operator article has been rewritten to describe Canva’s successor, so its timestamp is not used as definitive launch evidence.
- Location
- Austria · Vienna. The July 16, 2025 operator privacy policy explicitly covers this product and lists a postal contact address in Vienna for Canva Austria GmbH. This is the historical legal contact city, not a verified engineering office or server location; no coordinates are inferred. Location source
